Anyone heard of a treatment for windows that can be applied to stop water staying on them?

I'm just thinking of it for the side windows and back after i removed the rear wiper arm :D

Supposedly could help in the frost as well if the water has nothing to grip to?

there are about a million product out there that do it very well. Race cars have it so check most of the race car type shops.

I'll have a look around matey, i was thinking of a product that could be sprayed on once and never need any maintainance like a teflon coaed frying pan, just wipe it over with hot soapy water once in a while

been using rain-x for a while now,its good wen at speed,u hardly need to use ya wipers, hav done all windows and targa tops, water still sits on them first thing in the morn but soon goes once yr mobile,oh and u hav to re-apply roughly once a month, hth :)

There are some coatings but probably only supplied at source. The later Z's had the special anti-rain coating as an option I think.

Excellent, cheers guys. I remember seeing rain-x but didn't know if anyone had used it on here.

I'll give it a go

I have always used Maquires Car Polish on side, rear and targa tops always worked a treat for me.Dont do windscreen though. :)

Rain-x but get the rain-x cleaner to prep the screen first, all works wonders

I even use it on my ski boat windscreen its that good.

Can see fook all out the back screen in this weather now i've taken the rear wiper off and my heater elements don't work either, like driving a trani van!

Rain-X does the job very well :)

Yup, sure does - use it on your headlights too as it stops the muddy water accumulating on the glass in this weather and reducing the light output

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
