Just ordered something from Australia, it has 300 on it, but that doesn't refer to the 300ZX! But it's for a 300ZX though. It'll be going with a few other bits 'n bobs that I've ordered from the UK, some this week and some a little while ago from Danny!

Yes I received them, eventually, but they were defo NOT worth the wait! Extreamly poor quality mouldings, in fact so rough i could of thrown them together myself and come out with something better.

I'm still in the process of 'bodging' them into something that resembles what they are supposed to! Would be nice to have them finally finished by JAE this year (only a year later than they should of been!!) We'll see ;)

why not tidy them up & get some moulds made... make a bit of cash & compensate you a little!?!

I might consider it, depends on how well i get the finish first.

I was thinking on the lines of producing something like this before I spotted this in the first place. I was thinking of making a reverse mould and then have them vac-formed, then something like vulcanised chrome, if that makes sense? They'd be very light, but was wondering about heat damage to the vac formed moulding though :confused:

I was thinking about the vac-formed over the glass fibre that I have as it would be a hell of a lot easier to work with.

Gota get a good smooth finish and a good fit first to these though :rolleyes:
