The perspex in mine is ok but im a perfectionist so wanted them to look brand new when they go back in. Now that ive seen the tiny marks on there ill never not be able to see them if that makes sense.

i know its a long shot but try companies like these , im in the glazing industry myself and i know you can get companys to make you a new without too many probs , dont know the costs but could be worth it , get a group buy going as well , that way get a few made up and sell them on ! try these or sear perspex on internet ! http://www.gordonengraving.co.uk/Perspex.html

Why not just call MJP. If anyone can get them, he can.

As scrawni has said, you can get the plastic re-polished. The auto-detailer I know has a range of plastic polishes and buffers and can totally renew the look of plastics.

Im sure i will be hammered for the rest of my ZED owning life on the board for this

Where do i use those numbers? I tried using nissan.co.uk but couldnt find any parts section on there so i have no idea where to get standard nissan new parts from.

Cover - Front Meter, 24813-30P10

HTH, that is the part number for just the clear plastic.

Dave

Mike Feeney at MJP deals with genuine Nissan parts, give him the part number (saves him looking it up) and he should be able to sort you out, IF it's available separately.

Im too lazy for all that elbow grease to be fair vinz

As i see by the pics of your interior... we share the love of gleaming new look interiors so a new one if cheap enough makes me happier then cleaning an old one up.

Rub hard with BRASSO that will polish them and remove scratches a treat.
  • 6 months later...

I used Brasso and a polishing buff on a Dremel and it came up like brand new. Have to keep the Brasso on and keep it wet.
