i am going to try and make my own engine internals ie rods,pistons and so on i have access to all materiels and machines i need to do it but i need the actual specifications of the h rods and forged pistons and so on is there anyone that would have this on here if possible please

your best bet is probably kirbz - i know he built his own engine

What info are you after? :)

basically all the dimensions of the rods matey exact length internal bore dimensions,thickness weight would probably be good aswell so i can copy/make my own for a start then the same for pistons after buddy

if this works i might start manifactureing them and a few other parts later on

id say it would probably be best to actual be able to look at one myself but as i am relatively new here i wouldnt want to ask anyone as you guys dont know me from adam yet lol

Well I can send you an eagle rod with a JE piston attatched to it if you want? Obviously I'd need it back (I don't fancy developing the worlds first V5 engine :D ). Probably best that way since there's so many dimensions required and I don't have the tools to measure them accurately enough at the moment...

I'll ask John Dixon to put some info up as he has designed and had made all the internals for his VH45 lump. Slipper pistons and the full nine yards.
