i have a manual twin turbo zx which the engine went in,i was woundering if i could use a non turbo engine and put all the turbo parts onto it....in other words would it be safe and could it be done to run turbo parts on an non turbo engine :confused:

Pistons, cams, manifolds, flywheel, balance bar and lots of little bits but it can be done as is but on low boost.

about 6 psi at most as compression would be to high and you would get severe engine detting

yes, it can be done (Z1 had a document listing parts that were needed but doesnt seem to be there anymore?!). i believe Eric Lymon has done this himself. apparently is fine @ safety boost of 7psi.

can not pm him because i have only 1 post up,could some 1 do it for me please,need the advice asap,because i know where there is a non turbo engine for sale

Just find a TT engine - NA engine just isn't worth the hastle, OR worry!
