Hi Tiny, and welcome.

The most usefully and important piece of info you can read is the Buyers Guide >> Here >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm

Don't buy too cheap, if it's cheap then there is probably something wrong with it. Expect to pay at least £2500+ for a N/A and £3500+ for a TT.

Make your mind up NOW, do you want a Twin Turbo (TT) or a Normally Aspirated (N/A) as if you really want a TT, then buy one. Because if you think you can only afford to run a N/A and so buy one, you WILL regret it later!! If you see what I mean ;)

Always try to have someone with you that knows about them when you go to view one, asking on here if someone could do that for you will normally produce an offer from one of the members.

Also a rule of thumb is never to buy the first one you go to see, try a few out. But I can't defo recommend that rule, as I bought the first one I test drove :D and I've always been happy with her.

No problem at all bud. Anything you're not sure of or can't find the answer to in a search, then simply ask away, I'm more than sure someone on here will be able to give you the answer :D

Im still a newbie, My advice is subscribe up mate.

Best thing ive ever done, Ive just cleared out 32pms (Only been on here since the end of november!!!) from the nicest most helpfull people on here giving me tips on what to look for and which cars are good for the money.

I subscribed and within just over one week bought a ZED off a member on here (dafox  ) and buy a members motor which is the next bit of advice aswell, use the for sale section on here and as there is a history and story behind the car (theres loads of cracking cars for sale at the moment aswell) you will end up buying and you wont end up with a dog or horror story like some ive read. Check how many posts they have, the more posts the more trustworth they are.

2 links for you mate....

Read this and see my reason behind the above reply and why i wake up with a smile and quick glance on the drive!!
