Is the WEP sorted correctly?

The wirless router will show as connected even though you wont be able to go on-line!

I have just tried it with a LAN lead and it works so I know that the internet side is all sorted fine, but it doesn't look as if it has opened a port on the router for the wireless which it says is connected.

How do I check the WEP

Your going to have to check with your owner manual for how to set up your network card. But using your LAN cable you can display what the WEP code is via the set-up screen, again you'll need your set-up instructions, this time for your router.

Buy another cable for the fukka, it pissed me about last time I set it up.

Cheers Dave
