Hey guys, hope you all had a great christmas and are going to have a blinding new year :)

Slight problem: My osr taillights have BOTH stopped working. Changed the bulbs over to see if it was them and it isn't. The circuit is dead. Brake, indicator and front lights are all fine ust the two taillights. In the interim i've whipped power from the other side to light em up, but i want the proper system restoring. Any ideas?

By the way there are no fuses gone and the relays are all fine.

near the o/s rear light there is a little black box connected to the rear light circuit mate, I'll eat my hat if that isn't the problem.

as said there is a black box near the os light, think its called the rear light controller and is for when bulbs blow it lets you know

That box has got to be 99% likely to be the cause, but IIRC left and right light feeds are split before the box; if it turns out not to be the box, it's possible that you've got a dodgy connection upstream that might need sorting.

This is really bizarre - my car has just developed the same problem! Rear brake lights and indicator work fine, just the tail lights that don't work (only on one side). I initially thought it has to do with the foglight conversion I've got installed (ie two inner brake lights double up as fog lights) but I'm now thinking it's the little black box. Will get one out of a braker and see if that resolves the problem. One thing I did notice prior to this fault was that the OSR lights were dimmer than the NSR lights.

Yep, try a breaker or one of our specialists. I got mine from Jeff at ZedWorld and it sorted the problem.

I've got a few knocking around :)
