After getting up @ 9am it was a leisurely breakfast of fresh orange juice and coffee and hot croissants. Then opened all me prezzies with a glass or two of sherry and a mince pie or three. :duffer:

 

Walked the dog and then it was lunchtime - a nice juicy fillet steak, cabbage done in mulled wine and roast potatoes. All washed down with a nice bottle of red. :duffer: A short break and it was time for chocolate pudding with a bottle of Ice Wine. :duffer:

 

Watched Monsters Inc. and then took the dog out again. Came back and played darts with a beer or two. :duffer: The missus is now watching The Street so i'm having a wee surf and a natter on MSN to my mate in Canada.

 

Kids are back tomorrow so another Christmas Day of sorts to be had :dance:

Mine was pretty average. My son and hes girl turned up at about 13:00 with my grandson. We opened our gifts to each other and not much later had a lovely dinner. Settled down with a chat and ended up watching Doctor Who. Now its boooze time. We are off to my sisters on Boxing day for another piss up.

 

Enjoyng it so far.

Could have been better. Im working in the north sea at the moment and have been busy all day. Dont finish till midnight. :cry:

 

Had an ok xmas dinner on board thou. I had roast raindeer :D

Boring as ever. Glad it's nearly all over. Nice to see that family for a bit. But I see them all the time anyway.

Really hectic but fun day.

Kids had us up at half 8. Walked over to the father in laws with dog and kids about 10 and stayed for cuppa.

Left to visit Mother in law, sister in law and grandparents in law about half 12.

Went to my parents for dinner at about half 2 and then home in time for the soaps at 7!!!

We took the discovery today as we had the kids, dog and pressies and on the way home I had the dog at my feet in the front, the kids had bags all down by their feet in the back as the boot was just rammed from floor to roof with toys!!!

Its now all over my living room floor and I am just staring at it wondering where I am going to put it all :eek:

Tomorrow is going to be just as hectic as the in laws have a massive get together in the afternoon that the whole family goes to (about 100 people in a 2 bed bungalow! :eek: )

Always fun though.

lol, already posted this up on Torque Power but here we go again:

 

got up and downstairs for 9am, glass of sherry, opened pressies, stopped dogs arguing over whose bacon-flavour bone was whose, cooked dinner (10lb triple-bird with peas and roast spuds), put a Crystal Maze DVD on that I got for mum, played with new sat-nav, watched Harry Potter (lol), watched Doctor Who, watched half of Strictly but got boring after the climax of the final (two days ago!) up here about to blast away at some yanks on BF2. so not too bad really :dance:

It was tongue in cheek (note the smilies) but as my old grammy used to say, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all (particularly on a day like today...and let's face it, it's not like we don't already know how you feel...you've already bored us all to death ad nauseum with your dislike of this holiday season)...so I'll stick with directing it at you, if it's all the same. ;) But today's not the day for warring, have another drink, relax and "try" to enjoy yourself, you'll live longer. ;) :rofl:

It was just another working day for me out here (the Army had been out upsetting the locals so we had a couple of rocket attacks in retaliation - lol http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6209249.stm - good work lads)

 

Stopped work at 4pm, had my dinner then a couple of beers then bed.

had a good day, opened my prezzies at 1 min past maidnight (ourlass couldnt wait lol), had a lier in whilst ourlass made the dinner (fookin hooge traditional dinner with all the trimmings) watched some of my new simpson dvds lazed about all day then went to my sisters for tea

 

only had one bottle of stella all day, will make up for that today though :shock:

 

woke up today with the man flu, ourlass has the flu but it aint as bad as mine lol :rolleyes:

- Going to the Royal Hotel for Christmas Day lunch instead of having do all the washing up/cooking AWESOME!

- Buying a 45inch HD TV online which i'll be picking up in a day or two from brum

- My bro and parents loving their presents

- My new pinstripe suit which i wore to Christmas Dinner

 

WORST BITS:

- Spending the evening with Carly, fighting and trying to split up only to end up not leaving and spending the night (no sex of course as usual) and now she's on her way over for the day for boxing day meal

 

Boxing day will be better cause all my relatives will be round and i'll chill out later
