Well the temprature has dropped right down now and I just wanna urge everyone to PLEASE TAKE FOOKING CARE when out and about in your Zeds.... I nearly ruint my christmas twice yesterday as my bloody backend broke away below 2000RPM just gentely negotiating turns, roundabouts etc.. Nearly went into one car but was quick and saved it and yes my rear tread is good, i've just got too much low end torque!

It's not the time of year to be burying foot in the carpet so please everyone drive carefully, you never now when your gonna get caught out...

Have a safe christmas.... Jonny

Can I add to that,

If you have hicas check the outer ball joints, if they are knackered your rear wheels will do what they want.

I think mine are shot it, every potthole i hit the car slews to the left/right randomly. Very dangerous so i drive round like an old woman :(

I did the driving around like an old woman bit on tuesday night I couldn't see a thing in the fog on the surrey country roads and I've no heating in my Zed :(

Have you checked your coolant level?

First sign your coolant is dangerously low is your heating is less efficient.

Had that a few times, you pop the cap top it up and it looks like it's filled up then you give it five mins and it's bone dry again.

That is the excuse I am using for spinning my Zed twice in the last 6 weeks. :x:

Seriously, I think there are a lot of owners who are unaware of problems with their rear ball joints.

i had a problem with my rear hicas arms about a year ago and whenever i went over a bump or pothole the back end would buck like a bronco. all sorted now im glad to say

To check them propperly you need to take the arms off and then check the ball joints, if you still have the arms on then you have tension on them and you can't see if they are truely buggerd.

Even if you have the elimination kit fitted you still need good ball joints.
