Ive just bought (tonight!) one of the above that was registered here in 2003. Although I have service history since, I have no documentation from when it was first imported in. Is there any way you can request details? As in the ESVA test results etc?

Just would be nice to have if it was available.

Cheers

in what year was the car manufactured? if it was over 10 years old when imported then it didnt need an SVA, just general conversions (fog light etc) and an MOT.

darn...manufactured 1992 and imported 2003.

wanted to try and get some comfort on the mileage more than anything. I take it that no one would track the speedo conversions or anything in that case?

tbh im not sure, but BIMTA might be able to verify the milage when it left japan if you have any original jap documentation... at this point your probably best off getting it checked over thoroughly by a specialist and then doing the maintenance on their advice.

How about putting some phots up? maybe someone will recognise it.

they are all "clocked" :wack:

so dont worry about it.

so true and they all choose 50k to clock them back too :xxx:

Yeah that looks like it may be the case here. Doesn't really concern me as everything seems to be in order and got sufficient service history since. Just when it comes to resale have no idea what to say.....

Ah well, wanna keep it so won't worry too much
