They just did happy music.! I really wish I`d gone to see them when I had the chance. Ah well! Cant turn back time.

SLF - Saw 'em live at Colston Hall, Bristol (1981) and they were superb.

Only wish I'd got to see The Ramones

A band I really regretted never seeing was the Rezillos.

Saw the Ramones twice. Both times at The Mayfair in Newcastle. Right up front pressed against the stage. Came away covered in spit. Aaah. Happy days. Dee Dee Ramones. Rock God (but what a tortured soul).

Lucky Bar Steward - I've seen The Stranglers, The Clash, The Damned, The Vibrators, Toyah, Adam and The Ants and a few more "obscure" artistes :D

Please stop. The Rezillos. Fantastic. Never saw them live but they still tour and I WILL see them next time they play Newcastle. Actuall listening to Cant Stand The Rezillos right now (Vinyl of course). If I was pressed to say I reckon it could be my faourite album. Every track is great.

Several guys in the work went to see Madness last week at the SECC.

All in their 40`s now, but they said it was a fantastic gig.

Slow Boat To Cairo went down a storm !!

I`ve seen the Stranglers a couple of times. The (now) lead singer played at my local pub not so long ago. Only about 100 peolple there and he did an acoustic set. What a laugh. His opening lines were about being asked to do a fun run for disabled children. At first he thought, "*****cks that." And then he thought, "hold on a second, I could win that". Very un pc. but so what. He was a great entertainer.

SLF are still superb. They are `supposed` to do a benefit gig for Ashington football club soon, as jake Burns is honourary president. I`ve been promised tickets. The only way I won`t go is if I`m dead!!

Its a fact that when the world finally happens to end Charlie Harper ( Manuel Vader) and the latest incarnation of the UK Subs will be doing a gig somewhere and may it be so.

Toy dolls is worth a look !!

I`m trying to ge to bed ffs. Toy Dolls? I`m planning a trip out to see them with my brother sometime next year. They do a lot of touring in Germany and other obscure, uncivilised places like that. Weird when you need to go abroad to see Mackems when,Sunderland is only 40 minutes drive away. but, as they say ,Hey Ho!
