Can someone tell me the easiest way to disconnect my horns, as they are going of by them self and can,t get a spark to assist at short notice. Is there a fuse I can pull without affecting anything else, if not where are they located so I can rip them out and jump on them!! :smash:

Had a quick look through the online manual. the relay fuse block is on the nsf inner wing. the horn relay according to this is positioned 2nd row down, 2nd in from the left.

section EL, page 110, in the manual if you want to have a look

just put your hands in the lower grill on the front bumper and the horn's are to the far left and right. just pull the wires off.

Get rid of the horns too and fit some better dual tone horns. The Nissan ones sound utterly pathetic.

Appears to be one thing after an other, got the arms fixed yesterday. Don,t mind spending the money, just nobody wants my money!!

I'll have it!!! LOL

Your problems are relatively small in comparison to some.

I take it not many garages are keen to work on the car then??? think it scares off a lot of people and those round about the area that will work on it will probably charge an arm and a leg :( .

how bad were the arms by the way???

Funky if you can come fix my electrics your welcome to it!

Ossian it was just the near side, but changed both. Car feels like brand new, do you know anyone who knows how to set tracking properly as most of the people I have used in the past don,t seem to have a clue and can never get the steering wheel straight!

no looking for somebody to set mine up as well, if i find somebody i'll let you know. I probably wont be getting mine done till the spring now though and I know you use yours daily so you will probably find somebody before me.

the electrical fault could be pretty simple

1. relay, easy

2. switch, less easy

3. wiring fault, can be a right pain in the arse

the easiest one is the relay. swap it with one of the others just make sure its the same type. if its still fooked try pressing the horn button to see if it makes any difference after that your looking at trying to trace a wiring fault. has any work been done to the area around the horns?
