Ok it's decision time. Need some advice on weather to replace cats and keep back pressure to save turbo seels or get rid and have a better exhaust note.

Cats look like originals, could get away with a quick weld up job.

Anyone got any suggestions? What have you done and how much did it cost.

Running out of money now so cheap solutions welcome.

Fitted a set of these for a member on here not so long ago - impressed with the quality and the price :)

hhmmm, me to.

How are they going to effect my turbos though with a JWT chip, HKS induction kit, I am running stock turbos and am just about to wire up a GReddy profec B spec 2 boost controller.

I am really worried about having to replace turbos.

How many miles on the turbos? One thing I ALWAYS recommend when decatting is to renew the PCV valves and hoses. This should be done as a service item anyway (can't remember the mileage interval sorry). This will ensure the crankcase pressure is normal and minimises the risks of turbo seal failure.

The div wastegate design of the downpipes gives improved spool-up of the turbos so would be a good match for your existing setup :)

I've seen these on ebay before, but was unsure of the quality and fittment, but duffers seal of approval does it for me. i'm just about to change the PCV vavles and pipes so hopefully wont bolw the seals, how long did they take to fitt, or better yet when do you want to fit them ;)

whats the differences with swb? is it in the cat-pipes/ crossover / rear section?

As far as I know the rear subframe is the same on both and its only the rear half of the prop that is different, so these wont have a problem?

got a set of these myself, good quality bit of kit, tubs definately spool up quicker.

What's the rest of the system and is it noisey on long trips/high speed?

Not sure, it's showing 80kms and is a 2005 import. I think the mileage isn't far off looking at the condition of the car but who knows!

rest of system is trust, its slighly louder with decats fitted and is still ok at normal driving/cruising speeds but sounds good when you boot it.
