i know of the die hard fans of you get what you pay for ect and in an ideal world i would love to pay £150 a corner for tyres but its just not gonna happen soooo these have had some great reviews and the quality of products nowadays are very good. also they must have had many tests and quality controls to pass eu regs ect

please could you give me your opinion on these tyres.

the only way you are gonna find out is to buy them and put them on not sure that i would want to be the one to part with your hard earned cash to trial an unheard of tyre , tyres are really one thing that you don't skimp on as they are the only thing holding you to the road and really can make the difference between staying on it or ending up in the hedge espeacially in the wet imho

Price is not always an indicator of quality. I put Avons Z3's allround on my Z and they looked great. In the dry they were great, in the wet they were lethal. Even just turning into roads and the back was out, and I am not talking about powering it round. The backs lasted 3000 miles but they did do a track day. I then fitted Marogonis ( I think thats how its spelt) which were a similar price to the Avons, and Bingo, it was a different car. I had to really provoke it to get the back to let go. Apparently Jaguar are now fitting Khumos (is that right too?) to all new cars.

the brand worries me

shandong linglong love you long time sucky $5

just as bad as tingtong from tooting :wack:

Micheldever - Winchester

give them a shot Gaz, they're only in Winchester and they are really good!!

You don't need to pay £150 per corner, £100 per corner should get you good tyres. Plus in my mind tyres are insurance.

Mine came on two nasty cheap tyres from a far east brand I hadn't heard of.

The sidewalls were the wrong height for the spec embossed on the side wall and they caused vibrations. I took them off and replaced with Falkens and all was well.

Never hears of those but I suppose someone has to be the first to try em and if you get free sucky sucky then go for it!

I've bought most of my tyres from Micheldever over the years.

Very low prices and quick delivery.

I think they're behind http://www.falkentyres.co.uk which I used last time and got 285/35/18's for £85 each.

Very impressed with them too although there's a new range now.

LMAO

I buy all my car and bike tyres from Micheldever, nobody comes close to competing with them on price. Try to go during the week as on weekends the queue is 20 cars long.

It's a disaster in waiting if you stick cheap tyres on your car, madness.

Gaz, your only looking at around £60-70 a corner for a decent set of tyres such as the Falken 452's in yoru stock 16" sizes...and about £20 more per corner for 18"

thanks for that advice and piss taking.

i am looking at buying from mytyres and i haven't just gone at this with my eyes shut. i have compaired the reviews between the fk451's linglongs, kuhmo tyres and the linglongs are up there with them. good reviews and are rated as UHP (ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE TYRE)

i cant see how a tyre can claim a w y z rating for excess of 168 mph and not be of good quality.

i will take the info onboard

please have a look at them and see for your self http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html

thanks everyone.
