have been lookin at mitsi evo's and rx7's, really got myself set on an evo maybe 5 or 7 for my next motor

 

probably just pie in the sky, but have been scouring the ads looking at them

 

i really love my zed but i really like evo's aswell, what should i do

 

and is anyone interested in a black and white zed with a fat arse lol

 

should i keep the zed or go for an evo or rx7

id go for an RX7 after seeing Royals one .. top car that

I still love the ZED but an RX7 is really tempting. Especially the Dragon sports fast road/track car that for sale on in thier section Mazdarotary.com. It's alot of car for £8000. Still the zed is doing me proud at the moment!

I really like RX7's. Nearly had one before I bought the Z.

if you do get rid of the zed get a rex deffo

I'd never buy an Evo.....as much as they have interesting mechanicals and great engines...do you really want something that ugly? Just looks like a chaved up taxi IMHO. Rex? Kinda like the Rex, but it doesn't have as much road presence and it doesn't sound as nice. But a great car.

i quite like the looks of an evo (7), but all depends on what i can afford

The 7, 8 and 9 are much nicer I must admit. The earlier ones do nothing for me in the slightest.

oh i dunno i do like the evo 4, just not too sure on the 5 and 6 (but they are growing on me)

Fully moded REX of course but then I'm baised as we have one already on side my Zed lol :tongue: :dance:

I like the look of the Rex...but they are too small for me, drink too much fuel, the whole reliablitly/rebuild problems put me off and they lack the road presence of the zed.

 

As for the Evo (MUCH better than an Impreza), Im not a 4cylinder engine fan and they lack the long legs of the zed. Definatly not as special, but they are fun and praticle.

no spacers yet bud lol, need a front bumper, lowering kit, running prob sorting out once and for all lol, brakes need re'sealing and a few other odds and sods

i saw an evo 4 in a jackie chan film "who am i" i think and i though what a wicked looking car where did they go wrong like scoobies, the P1 was the dogs then they fooked it all up

Personally i find evos and scoobies a little uninspiring, they just look like hot hatches whereas the zed and the rex always look a little special to me.

 

They remind me that there are cars that look, sound and are still able to turn heads and people ask what the hell is it.

 

Stick with the zed and finish it properly or get a rex bud, you'll perhaps enjoy the drive in the evo more but you won't get that proud feeling when you see it in a car park among loads of other boxy saloon cars.

wash you mouth out! Spend more on the zed then you will have 1 wicked car that you know is sound. Spend that same money towards an evo or rx7 and then spending more money on that to get it how you want it, at least you know the zed and all your gonna be doing is buying someone elses trouble :)

really thought the evo may have done better than it did, will get christmas and new year out of the way and see what happens

I'd take you for a drive in the Rex if it wasn't in the garaged being ported and having a bigger turbo attached to it.

Mate, don't get an Evo... They are good for what they are but not a patch on the TTZ... You'll never be happy with the EVO and regret getting rid of your Z... You've get better turbo spool up, more bottom end driveability and more torque...

 

If you mod your Z a little more to get to around the 400BHP mark then you'll be happy!!! Don't forget the evo is not the most aero dynamic bus around and after 130MPH they struggle to get that extra 20MPH to get to the 150MPH mark...

 

I drove a mates EVO 6 a few years ago when my Z was standard and the evo was good but it didn't impress me... It was like being in a slightly quicker RS turbo dare I say it...

 

Your Z is a much more slippery shape, more fuel effiecient and more exclusive.... Too many people have got Evo's and scoobies now and your back to 2Liters, family car territory!!! Best of luck whatever you decide though and it's what makes you happy at the end of the day..
