Lower ball joint

I've just read that when fitting Skyline brakes, it can cause wheel shaking if the ball joints are bad, but not shake on normal brakes.

Is this true, cause my tension rod bushes ar fine but my wheel shakes!!!

    yes mate, it can happen. I have a pair of new ones going cheap if you want them? Bought them thinking the same thing but had mine checked before fitting and didn't find excessive play. In the the end I replaced my adj. tension rods with a new set and that fixed them.

    PS mine only used to shake when braking from speeds over 60/70mph
