Seen this on the local news.

Two lads just a few miles away from me were involved in an incident in Greece 6 years ago. They were attacked and robbed by a gang of greek men. They fought back but were badly beaten and slashed with a knife. They called for help but the police came and arrested them. During the attack one of the lads hit one of the greeks with a bottle which cut his throat. The greeks were never charged but the two english lads were thrown into a rat infested prison and beaten by the greek guards, before being relesed.

Now 6 years on the greek authoritys want to put them on trial for attempted murder. The lads have appealed to the courts not to be sent back as they will be mistreated again and not receive a fair trial but guess what?? they have lost the appeal and this glorious country is deporting them back to greece next week to spend up to 18 months in a greek hell hole before trial.

These are blokes now have to leave their wives and kids behind just before xmas and not know when or if they will return.

Now what make me sick is if they were some cranks from Iran/Iraq who came here illegally or hijacked a plane to get here then they could cry asylum and the human rights card not to be sent back and the do gooders here would ensure they were set up for life.

Its a fact that the normal British guy is becoming a second class citizen in his own country

I'd have a guess that as lads they may have had a hand in starting the original fight but the rest of it I can imagine being true and if it is then it stinks.

All I can say is there are 2 sides to the story, and for the justice system to deport them there must be a bloody good side to greeks story.

I aint sticking up for either side... but like someone said - always 2 sides to the story... and we all know how some people act in foreign countries when on holiday...

We've seen it all on the news for various other stories like football matches etc...

yes it was not their fault that they got mugged etc... but FFS - there is no need to slit someone's throat... IMO - if im busy being mugged... i'll just let em take what they want. Rather safe than sorry.

now im fooked off for the day! Its true every other cnut who comes to this shit hole gets all the rights where we have non any more.

So what we gonna do about it? Its about time we all stuck together and demand our rights back and get these laws and arse licking cnuts out of orifice

Wolfie Smith for prime minister

but FFS - there is no need to slit someone's throat... IMO - if im busy being mugged... i'll just let em take what they want. Rather safe than sorry.

Sorry, but if someone mugged me with a knife while i was holding a bottle i'd do a lot more than cut their throat with it!

That said, I'd put money on the fact that the english lads were far from innocent...

fully agree what your saying about two sides to a story and although you cant judge a book by its cover you can get a gut feeling when you see someone and when I saw them on TV they were regular family type men, not hoodie, chav, thug types at all.

But details apart its the fact that people can come here and claim asylum and human rights but we can send our own out into a justice system where they have no chance of a fair trial and will almost certainly be denied thier 'human rights'
