Ran my car on the Rolling Road Yesterday, Got 235 BHP at the wheels at 9PSI so if we take account of approx 60 to 80 bhp transmission losses its about circa 300-315 bhp at the flywheel which I'm quite pleased about as this tallys up with my 14.1 for the quarter mile. Thats with my silly bleed valves open fully, I closed them to see what psi I got, it gave 5psi which was 200 bhp at the wheels, looks like I'm going to have to invest in a proper boost controller!
Thank god I installed a proper boost gauge, as the stock boost gauge indicates 12psi when its really 9 psi! so loads more power to come.
My mates modified Supra ran his on the rollers, the rolling road is rated at 300 at the wheels, his went off the scale!! but the rolling road does show up problems with your engine, after his run he got home and his front crankcase oil seal had blown, leaving an oil slick on his drive, well its just given Gavin the excuse to have his uprated cams fitted sooner which will give him 500 bhp!!!
