Yeah sorry you are correct. Midnight Pumpkin. I remember now. I had Lunchbox and my best mate had Midnight pumpkin.

Tamiya stuff was ace! I saved up for mine.....was so happy when I bought it. It's still up in the loft I think.

 

I also have the old Mardave Ministock. Brilliant little race car. Used to go to local meets with these and race them indoors.

can you still get them

I was looking at these a while back. They used to wheelie all the time. There was another tamiya called the clodbuster:

Its usually in red though and is a bigger version of the pumpkin and lunchbox.

 

People also convert the suspension so it can go over huge rocks and stuff:
