Just wondered if anyone has ever had a spooooky experience. My old Grandad used to tell me loads of ghostly tales but I have never had any encounters with the OTHER world!!.

I did test myself out once with those cards with the symbols on (triangle, circle, square, wavey lines like in ghostbusters at the start) and REALLY concentrated and got 13 right in a row them bottled it and stopped.

It's reassuring to believe in this sort of thing as it sidesteps the harsh realities of existence and we can convince ourselves it's true if we subconciously want to.

 

If anyone can prove anything supernatural is genuine in any way to me they can have my Zed. You travel to me / pay expenses.

 

That said if you can prove it, I think newspapers will pay more and one of the scientific bodies has a million quid up for grabs to anyone who can prove something like this.

Gravity can be measured - 9.81 meters per second per second.

 

Wind can be measured with an annemometer.

 

Love can be measured by monitoring small chemical changes in the brain.

There's not a lot I don't know about ghosts. My ex-wife was, and still is, a real-life 'ghostbuster' (yes, they do exist!), and I've repaired more EMF meters (thats a ghost-meter) than I care to remember!

 

The ghosts that fascinate me (and very relavant to us petrolheads) are what are known as 'final journey ghosts'. This is a ghost that appears as an unmanned vehicle travelling at high speed over its' final route. Phantom cars, trucks, trains etc that have all crashed violently, killing driver and/or passengers.

 

Could explain those freaky experiences, where a car travelling behind you at night seems to just vanish into thin air, when you know there's nowhere for it to go ....
