With no Det sensor will the ECU revert to knock maps..

As my det sensor is missing, will I be on knock fuel/timing maps all of the time?

Yes, but, if you have a boost controller then it will continue to function as normal !

Nah custom ECU, just wondered as I burnt new chip with corrupt knock maps & was running like poo obviously.

Copied the stock maps into the knock ones & all is fine now, means I must have been running around on knock maps for a few months now :eek:

The car was fookin fast as it was on the knock maps, god knows what it's gonna be like with proper timing & 555s now :hyper:

Yeah it will bypass the safety boost feature but there are seperate fuel/timing maps when it senses knock (or the bloody sensor is missing lol)

now I wonder which zed specialist left that knock sensor off ur engine??

probably same bloke who left hanf ue engine bolts missing lmfao
