GOt the pin numbers nowjust needtoknow what they all do, any ideas as to where to find this? looked through the on line service manual butcant seam to find it? any suggestions??

What are you like at reading circuit diagrams ?

There is all the info you need if you know how as you can see where each wire goes which will tell you what it does.

If you're after specific items, let me know and I can trace it for you.

Depends what you need. There's some pin information here - http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ecuharness.html

The pins i'm after are:

12v constant

Injector signal

no.1 ignition signal

Ground

Vehicle speed sensor

IG power

crank 180degree signal

crank 1 degree signal

airflow signal

if you could let me now what pin numbers they are that would be great.

Cheers

Speed sensor is pin 53

You can get injector and 12v from here - tc02.jpg

AFM is 26 & 27 from the previous diagram

Ground is 50 and IG power is 59 from http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/avcr/avcr.html

I'm sure I've seen the info on the crank sensor too, but I can't remember where.

Try this my man ;)

Now that should be in the FAQ section.

VG30 CAS has 1 deg and 120 deg outputs due to being a V ;)

Doesn't look like you need my help any more :)

Well still not quite sure, onthe crank angle sensors, so if you have any more help......

I *think* the reference signal is the 1 deg, and the position is the 120 deg. Not 100% sure on this though. 41 & 51 are the same and 42 & 52 are the same - the connections are bridged in the harness ;)

cheers mate your a star. however does this mean that the apeximultichecker i have will not work properly because it's after a 180 degree sensor input?

Neil

Found it!

41 & 51 is the 120 deg signal

42 & 52 is the 1 deg signal

EF&EC 107 in the service manual :)
