I am just in the last stages of fitting the upper adjustable drivers side link arm when I find the powertrix adjustable link arm is just slightly wider than the third link it fits into as shown in the pics below. Did you guys who have fitted these some how open up the bracket slightly or file a bit of either the collets or the bracket?? I have read the brackets are handed but I have tried both ends of the link arms and neither fit in between the bracket??

Cheers in advance for any replies.

Nobody else struggled to fit these then?? I think what has happened as the bolt that has gone through originally has been torqued up the pressure might have sqeezed each side of the bracket in slightly, I think the only answer will be to widen the bracket slightly.

I had this problem with mine.

One end is wider than the other but it still wouldn't go.

I just gave it a couple of whacks with a hammer to open them up a fraction.

Didn't need much on mine, probably only 1 or 2mm.

Cheers guys I will whack it with a hammer :smash:

I have tried turning the arms around and both sides will not fit but cheers anyway.

Shouldn't they only be fitted one way round anyway so turning them round isn't an option ?

Bit of a tounge twister lol

Yeah your right mate, I just wanted to know if the slightly shorter side would fit out of interest but it does not.

i've fitted a set of these to yampiedogs car without any problems i must admit they are snug but it did go in with a gentle tap. hope you sort it mate

instead of wacking it put a piece of threaded bar through it and let the power of a nut pull it back, more controlled and presice than this :smash: ;)
