There's a pair on Ebay... Look like the real thing although one looks like it has been repaired. Does anyone know if Pace products are any good?

Do you know what sort of power you could get using these or is it best to steer clear.

Thanks in advance for any answers! :)

i think they have been advertised before and dont think they are for a zed either the pipe work is in the wrong place, plus they look too tall and half would be behind the side lights which wouldnt be any benafit as the air wouldnt get to the top

Pace are good, but they certainly don't look like my Pace ones.

The ones I have are larger (taller and thicker) than the std ones, so you do need modified air guides to get the best use of them.

now they look good! Only reason I ask is I'm thinking about fitting a boost controller to up the bosst to 1bar which I understand is all the stock setup will handle. However on a 16 year old engine I figure it could do with all the help it can get!

Thanks

thats correct 1 bar would be the very top you could go even that is on the limit with stock tubs, bigger IC's will help cool the charged air going into the engine but you really need to fit bigger injectors too to cope with the extra fueling increase the chip will produce and the engine will need by re mapping the ecu. get a good electronic boost controller that you can adjust the boost with, personally i wouldnt go as high as 1bar 12psi would be far safer for the stock tubs as they are getting on now 12psi will still be a noticable increase in power. But remember bigger IC's wont stop tubs giving out if they are old.

True and thanks for the advice... I've spent too much already on this car what with Manual Conversions and dodgy gearboxes and stuff.

Also service, discs & pads the lists endless so the last thing I want is for the Tubs to go.

I think I might just save for a full rebuild then (not Stock) but that'll take time!
