One for the techies I think.

Yesterday on the rolling road, I was the only person to have had a higher torque reading than bhp!

What is the actual relationship between torque and BHP?

And why do people want more bhp when it is torque that actually provides the accelaration?

It looks like something is choking the engine as the revs increase. What induction kit do you have? What exhaust? Do you still have cats fitted? Are you sure you are boosing to 9psi?

That's what I was thinking.

I am definitely boosting to around 14psi, my Greddy profec B spec 2 is telling me that.

I have uprate induction kit (ARC i think), and a full SS exhaust.

I do not have any cats, but when the RR guys went to stick the air fuel meter in the exhaust it was stopped by something in the back boxes.

Either there is some baffling in there, which would suffocate the system, or it is a bit of mesh to stop people stuffing bananas up there! I haven't had a chance to look yet. That is the first place to look!
