Hi there

I have reset my idle as it was too low.

In drive its sits correct but when I am in park, it shoots up to 1500rpms?

How can i get it that in Drive it sits okay but does not jump up when in park??

Thanks

the true idle will be in park, the fact its lower in drive it will be dragging on the t/converter and thats whats keeping it down. before you re-set base did you check temp sensor, vacume leak :)

Hi there

Checked everything else. As soon as the idle is low , car hesitates on pull off. If i set it like 900 in drive then it gives me no problems except that the revs shoot up to 1500rpms when in park

Hi there

sorry can you explain what you mean by neutral switch?

Thanks

Will your car start in neutral ? when you put your car in gear the revs should increase to prevent it stalling.

Not sure, will have to check. Should it be able to start in neutral?

Are you saying that when I go from Park to drive , the revs should increase??

the rpm's will certainly drop when you put it in drive with the brake on. It will also start perfectly fine in neutral. I'm sure swzmech meant will it start in gear, because it should NOT do that.
