im playing golf tomorrow, and ive just had a thought.....

if i remember rightly, both tim and phillyctt enjoy a bit of a hack, so i propose a northern meet at a golf couse.. anyone else up for gettin their bats out????

mr turbo, ive played the anglesey course, and if i remmeber rightly theres a hotel there too, i sense maybe the need for a golfing weekend, night in hotel and mucho beer. anyone up for it?

Me and the Boy Wonder have played there many a time! They're in the process of updating and turning it into a holiday centre type thingey.

 

Loads of nice courses over this way and cheap to play aswell.

 

I'm mad for it mate, get Ben(Veilside) up here aswell or maybe play the course that Philly boy was on about up near the Ginger Breads house?

 

I'm chuffed that there are more golfers owning up to spoiling a good walk to be honest! LOL

 

I've yet to dust off the bad ass mothers for this year! Too much going on at the mo to take time out from drinking beer and sorting my car out. But I am desperate to whack a 5 squid Nike ball out of bounds never to be found again! Tiger doesn't have that problem! LMFAO

I used to play off 7 untill i wrote a golf game for a company called Gremlin Intreactive a couple of years ago and got so fucked off with the game it make me wanna puke now at the thought of hitting anything other than my boss with a golf club !

I can hit a ball 250yds, thing is, thats the only thing i can do with a golf club, next time i go down the range im gonna take more clubs and seriously try to work out some lengths,

 

im too scared to go out on a real course for fear of people laughing at me

 

 

ive just come from a golfing holiday in ireland 2 be honest i went for the beer!!! LOL yeah! well up 4 a game of golf lads if and when i get my z back!!!!!

Mike, I've tee'd up on the 10th at Caernarfon Golf Club in front of the Club Pro and some old fart in a green jacket who were watching a tournament come back in! Fluffed it and had to endure total embarressment as the ball dribbled about ten yards and stopped next to the ladies T FFS!!! ROFLMFAO

 

That's just Golf in a nutshell!

 

Shit happens out on the course and it happens to everyone, even the Pros!

I'd be well up for a game of golf.....

 

I can hit a drive 230 - 280 yards but put any other club in my hand and I am terrible, waste of space and I have never been on a proper course due to the fact I would be crap at it and show myself up, but I reckon I could have a go if someone was as bad as me!!

My advice is this, driving is fairly easy but using irons takes a bit more effort! Try going round a nine holer course for a while before going out onto an 18. Nine holers tend to have shorter holes, loads of par 3's which you can only really use irons on.

 

If you've never played a full 18 course before then unless you've got nerves of steel you will shit yourself and that is when you fuck up big stylee! LOL
