hi gents

just sold some alloys on ebay & took him nearly 2 weeks to pay for them, fair enough, but now he's asking how quick i can send them to him :smash:

bit of a cheek but ok,

just got an email saying that if there not sent by next week he wants a full refund as he is selling his car,

i have been very fair with him waiting for him to pay, only after i threatend him with reporting him did he pay,

where do i stand with this do i have to give him a refund or as he has bid to buy it he has to honour his bid

thanks

I don't think you have to give him a refund but I'd just send him the wheels. A courier will deliver them in a day or two.

yeah i didnt think so, i will just send him the wheels, sure he is just saying that to get me to send them quicker.

Bit of a funny one. He's being an arse but you got his money. There is no way he can get a refund from you so don't worry. Just make sure your deliver and get a proof of receipt.

People who are arses will have bad feedback or a low rating (because they need to open new accounts to get positive again). In future put a line in your auction warning that people with negative feedback will be removed from bidding.

he has quite a good feedback bout 200 im sure only a couple of negative, sounds like he's bit of an arse does'nt it LOL!!, glad i dont owe him a refund, if he had paid up on time i was off that week and would have sent them straight away, but as he has arsed about im now working mornings & the courier wont pick up in the afternoons!!

Ive had this he can only report you as far as i know after 14 days of payment if he hasnt sent wheels....I hate people who take ages to pay

I'm sure it says that sellers are not responceable for delivery times, it's coming up to christmasan all, might take a little longer to get to him wink wink!

send them as soon as you reasonably can mate just to keep your side of the bargain up. if he gets funny again, politely let him know that if he'd PAYED for the wheels earlier, he would have GOT them earlier :xxx: :xxx:

OH DEAR MORE TROUBLE WITH THIS PLONKER!!

i have sent the wheels to him & straight away he wanted a refund as they were not new!! the advert said that they were used alloys ffs

then an email saying they were f***ckd damaged and badly repaired ffs

i said no way they were mint when i had them!!

then he says they have been repaired with spray paint, i could not see a simgle mark on the wheels, seems he wants his money back any way he can!!

i have tried to be fair by saying that if he can get a photo of the so called damaged i will pay to have them repaired

do i have to give him a refund??

i have close up images from a 7mp camera that show no damage whatsoever!

'i have close up images from a 7mp camera that show no damage whatsoever!'

Are the pics dated? If so, send them to him showing the condition

of the wheels before you sent them to him.

Tell him to send them back to you (at his expense), so you can

see any damage done (only you will know if it's a new mark etc..).

How did he pay? If it was through paypal, i've heard stories of

people having the money taken back from there accounts after people

have complained about the item they've received.

TBH, he sounds a bit of a pen15, either kerbed them himself, or actually

did sell his car before they arrived & now wants a refund.

Yes He Did Sell His Car Before They Arrived, He Mentioned This In His Email, Thats Why He Wanted Them So Quick!!

Thats why he`s damaged them, no good to him now so wants his money back, tell him to **** off!!

Tell they were in perfec condition when they left your hands and he must of damaged them, if he argues the case, it a case of him provingthey wernt put on his car, or that he hasn't damaged them like what was said above, have you got the picture that you used in the ad? were they taken just before selling or where they still on the car? if they were off the car and were just before you sold them he really hasnt got anything to go on.

well well i got the photos from him 2day & 2 my surprise he has sanded off the paint 2 show a little bit of filler, i had no idea there was a repair like that on these wheels as they were in mint condition, he has delibreatly defaced these wheels ffs

& still wants a refund!!!!

If he has defaced them then it`s his problem, you sold the wheels as used and thats what he got, a set of used wheels. If he paid by paypal then get the money out of there before he moans to Ebay and they freeze it!!

nope he paid by bank transfer!!

bob how u doing fella long time no see

how is the skyline doing? last time i saw ya u were racing round on a quad :smash:

I`ll let you know when i get it back, just had turbos rebuilt and in for re-map!! Still playing on the quad getting covered in sh1t!! all good fun though!

Pop in if you`re passing, kettle`s always on mate.

Bob

Sounds like he's trying it on big style.

A lot of it depends if you filled out the returns policy on eBay.

If you didn't mention anything about for example returning them within 7 days, sold them as used and gave genuine pictures then he's stuffed!

If he'd payed by PayPal then he might have a chance of recovering something but not by bank transfer.

Stick to your guns mate.
