Like most fantastic TV programmes, the only way america will accept it is if they can use US actors and change the story lines and jokes.

 

Look at "The Office" although the US version was successful in the US, it is not even funny compaired to the UK one. (Which I didnt hink was funny at first until i "got it")

I didn't think the US pilot was that bad.. It mixed up various storyline I remeber.

 

Also i think there was another US pilot, but I've never seen it, with the Cat being played by that fit woman off deep space 9.
