Hi, i was checking my boss today to see if it was Hicas or not, can anyone post a pic of their hicas boss? Is the sensor supposed to in the aluminium casing on the splines, or is it in the plastic shroud behind it?

ย

There is a spare connector in the current boss, what does the hicas sensor connector look like?

ย

If it turns out it isnt, has anyone got one for sale?

Featured Replies

the steering angle sensor has a lug at 12oclock and 6oclock.if you boss has slots to locate these then it is intended for hicas vehicles. ;)

Thanks for the responses. Does anyone acctually have a picture of how it is supposed to be? I have not dealt with one of these before.

ย

The lugs you mention look more like they are designed for a puller. Would be great if someone could post a picture.

Ok zcentre has just started stocking hicas bosses at a really low price compared to others I have seen.

Is this because they dont have the hicas sensor in them, but have provision to install one? My boss has the lugs top and bottom but nothing inside.
