Why oh why oh why do people insist on having pictures in their 'Rides' the size of the moon? what is the point? I know some of you are posh and may have 40" monitors but some of only have little 17 inchers and don't really find looking at a Zed wing mirror all that fun.

I'm sure its not just me who gets pissed off with this so could you all resize your pictures to fit a normal computer screen please.

OK. How.

That annoys me too and I have a 19" screen.

However the new IE7 has a percentage button in the bottom left which may well help.

Would be easier if the picture resized itself automatically when clicked on from the rides section.

if its any help guys microsoft has a tool that automatically resizes pics for you when you right click , can get it from microsoft.com search for resize pics tool will find it there

I'm running IE 6, and the option to resize any opened photo's is already there. If you go to 'Tools', then 'Advanced' scroll down to 'Multimedia' and it's the first one. Check the box, 'Apply', and 'OK'.

Then whenever you open a picture, the picture will be re-sized to the window if it is bigger than you screen.

Firefox - right click image and select 'view image'

I agree though, also getting fed up with the size of some signatures. The amount of scroling just to read all the posts is getting rediculous...

I take it your refering to daves 'Batwing Alfa Romeo' sig pic the duffer?!!! :x:

I deleted my pic when Glen had a pop at me! when what i should have done is told him to set his PC profile up properly!! :D  :p

No bud I'm referring to most of the people who post on here regularly. Maybe we should start a new thread - people with big signatures have small dicks  Name and shame people on it - they'll soon remove them

Seriously though some signatures do have some use so I don't really want to turn them off.... eg smithy's monthly bargains...

Hmmm I think the thread is a great idea actually.... BRB

If you are on IE7 it seems to be automatically set.

Wow a 2 page post  ;)

particularly annoying on a widescreen monitor at 1280x800, that post above was over 2 whole pages worth of height for just 4 lines of text.
