But lests say i replaced the flywheel and the clutch cover and evorything on my n/a with turbo stuff wold it work ? becaus im seeing thease light weght flywheel and clutch kits but they are only for tt and it wold be cheaper for me to do this than replace the clutch and the fly wheel sepratly eather way i need a new clutch

no it wont work as andy says the diameter so the ring gear would fail on the bell housing as the fly wheel sits inside it, if it didnt fail the bell housing your starter wont ingauge on the ring gear

That was *****x - see below ;)

Actually, the TT flywheel WILL fit in the NA bellhousing but you'll need to make a spacer for the starter motor ;) Just remembered about a TT car I had in once for clutch and flywheel - unknown to me it had a NA gearbox fitted before along with NA flywheel. New flywheel was for a TT and couldn't figure why the started wouldn't engage.... Spaced the starter out and everything was fine :)

Flys for both the N/A and TT tend to be the same price and the clutches are definately cheaper for the N/A than they are for the TT.

If your struggling to find decent prices in the US for this, drop me a mail to smithy@manx.net and i'll arrange to drop ship to you from my suppliers over there ;)

cheers
