You may find that the pins on the LED bulb do not match the openings on the car side. Other than that, LED lights like these will project a very strong circular red pattern on the light lens. If these bulbs had the LED's mounted around the radius as well then the directional effect could possibly be less. Make sure that if you buy these bulbs that they emit white light because you're mounting them behind a red lens. If you buy bulbs emitting red light you will not see much light on the outside of the light unit.

i have these as brake lights in the venoms but got clear lenses they are bright tho

What Danny said......

.....plus as LEDs use a fraction of the power a normal bulb would, I guess you'd have the "bulb out" warning on the dash constantly.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

you really need these type due to the angle the bulb go into the light cluster. i had these before but the stupid bodyshop threw them away with my old clusters doh! at £20 a pair they are not cheap but look fantastic. the round ones dont illuminate the cluster properly imoattachment.php?attachmentid=27883&stc=1 360 Degree Cluster Style LED Bulbs.

12v BAY15s 360 Degrees 13 x LED - Red 382

I had some of the "normal" LED bulbs in my rear and front clusters and they just didn't produce enough light so I chucked them! But them 360 degree ones look good.
