Ok I have to admit I have not done a lot about this problem as I have been on holiday. I intend to give it a good dose of looking at this weekend

but thought I would ask again 1 more time.

 

The heater does not get warm.

 

Heater matrix is not bypassed

Coolent level is spot on

The car gets warm and registers on the gauge

The aircon works(I know this means nowt but I thought I would throw it in)

 

All suggestions welcome

It could have alot of sludge build up blocking it or on the side of the matrix is a valve which alters the amount of water flowing through it , the cable might have come loose , IIRC the outer shield of this cable is secured to a bracket with a clip , if this has come off the valve could be permanantly shut , not allowing any hot water through it :confused:

Or what ever controls the movement of the cable from the climate control could be iffy :headvswal HTH
