I have windows media player 10.

I've bought a ipod and want to download my music files from my PC onto the ipod.

Question is how to I convert the files on the PC into MP3 format, before downloading them onto the ipod?? At present I think they are in wma format.

Thanks in advance

I think CDEx will do it. It's what I use to create MP3s from CDs, but I'm pretty sure it will convert from other formats to MP3 too.

Where do I get CDEx from ?

Thanks

why not just goto the apple web site and download the itunes package with the ipod extras? much easier to do

you should have i tune in the box with the ipod, it best using that, although it took 5 hours to do mine cos it had to convert all the trakes to AAC, bugger! but have enought music on my ipod to drive anywhere in the counrty and back with out hearing the same song twice!

the ipod is AAc format, and need to be converted so the ipod can read them.
