Do you guys recommend using this type of fuel additive injector cleaner on zeds? Iv used it on previous cars every 6 months or so and never had any problems but didnt know if it would be suitable for a zed.

I all ways put this in a car ai've just bought on the first fill up, did it in my first zed, haven't done it in this one as it hasnt moved since i bought it and havn't put any petrol in it yet, never had any prob's, at the end of the day it's just a cleaner.

Redex will fook up the rubber diaphram in the fuel pump(sooner or later).

It is unlikely to do any harm, also not convinced it does much good.

You also risk loosening any laquer off the inside of the fuel rail and blocking up the injectors completely. The only (proper) way of cleaning injectors is to remove them and have them ultra sonically cleaned...

the duffmeister has to much time on his hand me thinks lol :p

Yeah, but the thing about this stuff is it's so highly diluted. 100cc or so in 70 litres of fuel, this is like homeopathy for cars ... ;)

I did get my injectors cleaned ultrasonically and it runs very much more smoothly now.

i remember you said you got a cracking price for that service, who was it by again?
