climate control noise??

i keep gettin an annoying clicking sound from the dash/climate control panel. it only seems to happen when its raining or damp. the only way i can stop it is turn the heat up to over 30 degrees or turn the demist on. i can think what is causing it but its gettin on me tits now winter is here lol :rant:

    I posted a similar thread a while ago. If you search you will find it.

     

    Does the noise click about 5 times then stop for 10 seconds then start again etc?

    I THINK it is something to do with a solenoid but I am not sure!

     

    Mine is a series 2 Zed and I found as long as I have some air being pumped down to the footwell it doesn't make any noise at all.

    That is good enough for me LOL.
