One of the bolts that holds the nose panel is broken, the top of the bolt is missing but the bolt is still in there. It was already broken when i got the car.

Anyone got any ideas on how this could be removed?

Thanks.

snx.

drill it out....need a fast drill, hardened bit and steady hand

if you knacker the thread just get a helicoil for the same size hole

Tap it round and out with a centre punch or chisel?

Or drill a pilot hole and take it out with a reverse thread stud extractor?

Could you hacksaw a slot into it and get it out with a screwdriver?

I hate knackered / sheared bolts!

Thanks for the replies, might try soaking it with WD40 and tapping it out, then take a drill to it...

IIRC diesel is the best for soaking / freeing up stuck bolts

Problem with stud exctractors is they expand the bolt and jam it in the thread. Best way i've found is to drill it then knock a spline drive bit in, should come straight out :)
