Chirchill have said they will provide a like for like hire car

whilst mine is in the bodyshop. I have just had a call from

the hire company offering a Jeep Cheroke ore Grand Voyger!

 

How far away can you get :xxx: so have declined and told them

to sort it out!!!

Have passed this to the leagal department to sort

as the 1st party insurance are saying thet are not

willing to supply like for like. F****G A*****S

dont know why we pay insurance!

Photocopy relevant bit and fax it to them saying are you going to try and brake a legal contract. Although it might state like for like were available.

It's figgin car. Your own car is being repaired. Really wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't give a toss what car they gave me. I bet you don't pay more than about £250 a year on insurance anyway! ;)

would piss me off, as a like for like car is a major seliing point in insurance adverts, if i insure my car i would like everything that has been promised

No, but you're not having the car forever. Probably 3 days? So, if you spilt my beer (which I don't drink anyway! LOL) and you gave me a coke to drunk before bringing back my pint, then sure, no problem .;)

because thats how this fvked up system works :rant: who pays for all the running around getting qoutes aswell (we do) plus phone calls (we do)and to add insult to injury when asked iff you,ve had any claims or convictions you,ve got to disclose them even thou it was,nt your or our fault :confused:

had a similar problem when some silly old bitch went up the back of my company car while I was stationary!! It's a merc and they tried to give me a corsa, sol I told them to **** off... and ended up with a better spec than mine, brand spanking new e-class for the week, while the old dear was landed with a bill for about a grand.

 

I did feel a bit guilty afterwards though - I got a notice that her insurance had refused to pay, and they were claiming it off her through county court! Hopefully it convinced her to destroy her licence and stop driving eh!!!

i got a brand new vw golf plus with 80 delivery miles on it . it went back with just under a thousand 6 weeks later lol. the when it had to go back cos they sprayed it the wrong colour i got a new micra so dont worry to much!
