Can Anyone Help I Did An Ecu Check And It Came Up With The Fault Cts Sensor Is There Anyway Of Getting Out Of Safety Mode Without Replacing This Part As Im Not Sure If This Is The Only Problem

Featured Replies

A few tips.

First & most important one is, not every word needs to start with a capital letter.

Most of the time CTS fault is caused by a bad connection, so first thing to do is clean both the plug and connections on the sensor itself. Then reset ECU & check for faults again.

If its showing a fault with the cts then sort that problem first. There is no way of getting out of it no - the ecu needs to know the engine temperature for fuelling and ignition timing compensation...
