Or even breaking a manual, send me prices.

Advice appreciated.

As far as i know your looking at around £750 for the parts and around £400 for fitting.

Paul.

Cheers chap. super quick response your fingers musta been lingering over the keys waiting for a newbie to ask a Q. LOL

Anyone know if there is a difference in JDM and UK cars.

The car would be UK-spec, could I fit a JDM OR a UK 'box or would it have to be Uk?

The Uk and Jap manual boxes are the same, so no problems there.

I take it the N/A and TT boxes are different, guessing an N/a box wouldn't last very long on a TT???

I got quoted about £1500 quid for an auto to manual conversion so i banged another auto box on instead, cost me less than £500.

If i were you id speak to mark at zen garage, his prices are the best around and he can do the job standing on his head.

Cool, thanks guys I'm aware of the different auto/manual engine tunes. and notice there is a write up on the conversion:

here. I consider myself handy enough when it comes to car mechanics to attempt it myself....when the time and the funds come .

Well the bellhousings are definitely different because the TT clutch is larger, not sure about the gearboxes, need to check the ratios etc.
