Just occasionally, when I am stopped at lights or something and the engine is warm, I get a couple of shudders from the engine and the revs drop accordingly, like a slight mis-fire. It runs perfectly well apart from this.

 

Any ideas?.

this wont help bloke but i get the same thing and no 1 can tell me how to fix it, the car other wise goes well, if you find out please tell me lol, im going to start with cleaning the idle air valve at the back of the engine.

My auto zed has started to do this on the few cold mornings we have had... strange..

 

by the ecu temp sensor do you mean the one down stream of the radiator?

Clean the ecu temp sensor to start.

 

 

Here you go. take it out and clean the contacts and the sensor
