hi everyone. brake question

i'm sick of warping my standard disks on my 93 tt.

i'm now thinking of changing to skyline GT R32.ive priced disks, calipers and pads and it comes to about £200 for the lot,to me this just does'nt sound right, the guy in the shop said the latest year skyline from which they come from is 1981 and this does'nt sound right either, where am i going wrong???

if you cant help me with this question then can anyone recomend an alternative,?? a good but not too expensive disk and pad replacement.

thanks everyone

shit yeah ive got a gargle noise when accelerating aswell does anyone no what this is and how do i fix it

Well a standard pad upgrade would be EBC Greenstuff far better than stock.

Lots of people have uprated their brakes so someone will point you in the right direction there. The Skyline that matches the 300zx is the R32 - but would have thought new calipers etc would me more than £200 unless of a scrapped car.

Could the gargle be detonation?

Dont go near R32 brakes. Big mistake. They are the same as the ones on the 300zx now lol.

R33 is the kit you want to go for.

Second hand a set of discs and calipers are about £500-600.

New well dont ask lol.
