manifolds and excess rubbish!

hey guys!

engine will be out by the weekend again and have spent all evening reading up on all the useless c++p for emmissions i can remove!

whilst i was there have been checking my engine mod spec and it looks like the only thing slowing me down will be my stock manifols!

as i have t25/t28 tubs, split divorse down pipe, greedy i/c's, nismo 555 etc etc!

i cant afford new tubular manifolds so is porting and polishing them worth wile????

is there any real probs with removing all emission etc parts!

dont really fancy removing engine for 3rd year running!

regards steven

Yep I ported mine :) Made a massive difference too! You will not believe the amount of excess material in there. Of course you're risking weakening then or blowing a hole in them but IMO its well worth it. I spent about 6 hours on each one making sure I got every last bit i could out. Just check out the outlet to the tub on the passenger side one

thanks for the info!

think ill try a find someone in my area who does it all the time??

i do have the tools to do it myself but think there a bit of an art to doing a whole manifold!

would the pair have to be closely matched or is it not that critical?
