not wanting to stick my oar in but do you think we have a moral obligation to inform the bidders that the car, although it looks a tidy example, may struggle to reach the advertised magic 3 seconds...or shall we just sit back and watch what happens?

s i said in a preivious post, if you mis advertise something for sale ebay will come down like a ton of bricks on you, even down to the twin air bags she has advertised,

 

so the buyer can inform ebay that the car is not as it was advertised. or even get the police involved, think it's some thing to do with obtaining money by deception.

 

So you could email, the bidders and warn them, might save a lot of agro for them in the long run, then direct them over here, there are a few cars for sale that are to good to brake.

well apart from the small chafe on the near side it looks ok. engine bay is nice and clean and... standard... dont fancy those rubber hoses holding 7 bar of boost tho! POP!

Look at the gaffer tape over the Cam covers :nono: Maybe thats what gives it such a good 0-60 time :rofl:

 

 

 

Love the gaff tape holding the cam covers to the throtle linkage, but whats that blue thing on the right of of the throttle bodies below the halfords battery, maybe thats why its 0-60 is as fast as an RS200. lol

you know what Nick I think youre right, the car's a right bin. glad the bidders didnt meet the reserve (was probably set at £50k, being a 3 second car and all).

The pearl yellow is a nice colour, was only made in 90-91,

and that one had a series 2 interior by the looks of things.

And that 'slight scratch' on the wing( :rolleyes: ), will

need a full respray, you'll never match the paint.
