What's the biggest front brake disks you can get behind stock wheels for an upgrade, obviously not massive, or would just new disks and pads do ?

Bigger is better (obviously)

You might want to check Kirbz's thread on breaking his project car.

I know he did have some massive brake kit for sale, don't know if it has been sold yet through...

To go behind Stock mate the biggest you can go is 310mm and that kinda just makes it.

Can do yer a 2 piece grooved disc/bell, brackets, new fluid and pads for £495.

Other than that some decent discs, pads and new fluid does work alot better than stock, feel free to check out the options in my brakes link.

cheers

Hmmm, shit Smithy you got me thinking mate, but near on 500 squids, it's a fair wack !

Aye thats cos it's 2 piece performance discs and everything else to go with it.

You could of course just go with decent pads/discs and fluid and pay around half that ;) Bigger usually means more dosh bud :p

Have you any brake or carb cleaner to give them a wipe down with bud ?

Cos generally discs are often fitted by garages, they expect them to have some lying around to wipe them down with.
