FOOK SH!T AND *****X

Went and put diesel in me car this morning :headvswal :headvswal :slap: :nono:

Anyway, as soon as I realised I stopped pumping, didn't start car and pushed it away. Got it to me dads and thought I'd syphon (spelling ?) it out but you can't get a tube down in the tank. I thought I could pump it out with the fuel pump but it only stays on for 1 second. Is there anyway to make the pump stay permanently on ?

Remove the CAS unit from the front right head and spin the spindle.

HOW much did you put in ?

Will that make the pump continuously pump ?

and refitting it it has to be put back in exactly the same position ?

Put about 30 liters in :smash:

Having a stinking hangover didn't help :hurl:

yes mate but you will have to remove the fuel pipe from the intake side of the filter and mark the CAS unit and put it back in the same place.

What would we all do wihout the help and advice from good people you

Much appreciated

you could hook up a seperate power lead from the batt to the pump disconnect the pump power lead and get the motor to run full time....did it once on an old ford i had wrongly filled

Or just remove the fuel tank drain bolt then you don't contaminate all the fuel lines ;) Too late now.... Some tanks have drains some don't but you could have also removed the pump cover plate and syphoned it out that way as well...

Don't give the car much boost until you've run quite a large amount of fuel through it or you'll be getting det...

You got RSI from spinning that CAS spindle now then?
