What aftermarket blow off valve would you guys recommend (if any) for use on a manual twin turbo jap spec?

Thanks bud

Tial bov's sound horny. I've got A'pexi on mine and they're quite nice sounding, not too loud/quiet, and they're well concealed behind the bumper away from the engine so they don't take up even more precious room up there.

They produce a lovely chatter in mid boost and a swift tsshh in full boost and also to their job well. =)

girlfriends got a HKS BOV on her Mr2 turbo engined AE92 corolla that sounds good but the neighbours already frown when they hear her coming up the street and it goes off, the really moan when the zed comes up and im still on standard BOVs (exhaust is as loud as hell) so dont think another two HKS BOVs will please them but dont really care!

Was mainly asking to see what ones you guys thought the best for the zed, all replies greatly appreciated, thanks.

HKS make a gay sound

Apexi not too bad

The ORIGINAL blitz on the outer hard pipes were the ultimate!

These days apexi would appear to be the best....

Be carefull of what type you get though as some will cause idling probs and the car will stall when coming to a junction....

It makes a change to hear anything other than baileys dump valves where i live every man and his dog drives an impreza with one, not many off the scobbies have the nuts to go if they pull up next to the zed at the traffic lights i just get a little glance and a nod Lol.

So the HKS one makes a welcome change, thanks for the warning just priced up a tial BOV seem well priced and look well made. Call me sad but i would like a loud BOV!

I think I might know someone selling HKS on hard pipes and they sounded loud. And I'm not familiar with gay sounds so can't really comment from that perspective. If you want I can give you his details.

yeah they are really loud my mate has one on his pulsar, not badly priced either there around £165 - £170 each.

Your the second person to recomend turboXS thanks for the help.

Im really tempted by the tial BOVs i have friends in Canada who run turbo'd hondas and they swear by tial products anyone had any experiance of them on there zed?

Thanks for all the comments guys its really helpful.

Im in Barrow-in-Furness mate its about an hour or so from Carlisle, the A590 in the way in can be a fun strech of road and there is a great coast road between Barrow and Ulveston that is excellent if your car handles well its very twisty.

A bargain especially if you need other stuff to help offset the postage costs.
