Best Alarm for a Convertible

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if anybody knew anything about alarms, the questions I have are:

Whats the best alarm for a convertible?

Can I get one with a built in turbo timer?

Can I get one that will retract mirrors on arming and have a separate boot opener switch?

I want one where it will ring my mobile phone on activation and will activate if

the car hood is bumped?

Anyhelp would be appreciated with fitters suggestions and prices?

All the Best,

Mark H

Speak to Bob (Safe & Sound link from 300zx.co.uk). He fitted the alarm to my other half's convertible and it's great.

hi mark,

ive just had a clifford concept 600 fitted to my zed, instead of ultrasonic sensors its got proximity sensors. when someone goes near the car it sound the alarm to warn them away (a single chirp not the full alarm) this is very useful for convertible cars.

i also had the clifford intelestart fitted, this can be used to stop and start the car.

if you need to know any prices for this system drop me an e-mail

hope this info helps you m8

Should have paid around £650.00 for that but should have gone for the Concept 500 which is cheaper and has the same features. It does exactly the same as the 600 but isn`t insurance approved, but with the intellistart you lose the Thatcham approved part of the alarm.
